I finally got to read JLA #200 a couple weeks ago--great one! Super lineup of artists as you can see from the back cover, with Perez drawing here and there throughout. I was a JLA fan but mostly during the earlier Dillin era, and somehow missed this blockbuster until now.
Garrett, better late than never! JLA #200 has always been one of my very favorite giant DC issues, together with Showcase #100 and Superman #400. There's so much awesomeness squeezed between that equally awesome wrap-around cover. When I got back into comics some years ago, that was one of the first single issues I made it a point to re-acquire.
I remember those issues of Freedom Figthers, WardHillTerry. I got that the Crusaders were a spoof of the Invaders, but I didn't pick up on the bit about the Marve writers.
The cover that started me on the X-Men.
