1940's-style Captain America Movie Poster
Doug: I saw this yesterday over at marvelousnews.com and thought I'd pass it on. I love this -- how cool was it to come up with this idea? I do have one concern, however: it looks like Hitler does indeed have the red swastika on his armband. Let's just hope it's not some silly Hydra insignia...

Dude, what are you talking about? Didn't you know that the Nazis were just a front for Hydra? Seriously, though, I love the poster. It reminds me of that classic Golden Age cover with Cap (and his triangular shield) slugging Hitler. That's what comics should be - escapist fantasy. :-)
I think it's a fantastic poster, but apparently it was made for the cast and crew -I don't think it will be available to the general public. I read there was a small giveaway to attendees at some show.
I'd much rather have this to hang on my wall than the poster I've seen so far.

Awesome poster! But of course they won't release it, because that would lead us (the stupid public) to the mistaken belief that comic book movies are actually supposed to be fun, instead of serious films about the duality of man, or some crap such as that.
And please don't tell me they're replacing the Nazis with Hydra in this movie. It was bad enough when they did that in the Avengers toon, but doing it here would be almost unforgivable.
I guess Marvel isn't content with just retconning their own history. Now, they have to rewrite actual history too. I guess it's just another example of how overly sensitive our society has become. Sad.
"I am Thor, God of... uh, no wait I mean "Prince" of Thunder." Pathetic.
Nice poster though.
Yeah, I know how the Christians get when anyone implies there are other "gods."
