Happy St. Paddy's Day

Karen: Rather than the usual leprechaun stuff, how about this lovely John Romita Sr. rendition of the mysterious Medusa, in the appropriate colors?

Great cover! Nice lighthearted story, too. An attempt to use Medusa to sell hairspray? Bet Stan and John smiled all through this one.

Yep, excellent cover, had the Marvel Tales ish for years.. I thought we'd see the Steve Gerber leprecaun from the Defenders droppin' by.

I read the Marvel Tales reprint circa 1973 -- rather inane story, but boy did my pre-adolescent self fall in lust with Medusa as depicted by John "Ring-a-Ding" Romita!

Fred..: My appreciation of Medusa was well acknowledged on covers like FF 138..

Hi, David,
Big john Buscema and Rich Buckler provided some pretty ravishing depictions of Medusa as well during her tenure on the FF. Although I was happy to see Reed & Sue reunite near the end of Conway's run, i was rather sorry to see Medusa go. Even tho' she did turn up again shortly in the Inhumans strip, that didn't last long and she actually seemed more interesting when interacting with the FF than with her own kin.
